What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. For more info on fanlistings, go to The Fanlistings.org.

This particular fanlisting is for those who are fans of the relationship between the cast members of the 2004 movie Troy.

Troy is an ensemble movie. A movie where the scope requires more than just a couple of leads. To truly tell the tale, this movie needed to employ a number of name actors -- all of whom are tops at their game. Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean, Diane Kruger, Rose Byrne, Peter O'Toole, Brian Cox....the list goes on and on.

This cast was then sequestered together for the better part of a year in semi-remote locations. To pass the time when not shooting, the cast got to know each other and they participated in everything from watching football [or soccer as we Anglophiles know it] to mad karaoke nights at the local bar. They hung out together around the hotel pool and had cookouts. They grew to become close friends and psuedo-extended family.

Because of this closeness, the cast were able to work together on film to produce the great performances that made Troy so enjoyable to watch. Many are even continuing to work together. Kruger and Bean just completed National Treasure and Kruger and Byrne co-star in the upcoming Wicker Park.
